Two Versions: Basic and Premium
Apple is said to be working on two versions of the smart display. The first will be a low-cost model focused on essential features like Face Time calls and smart home controls. This version could be available as early as next year.
The second version, however, is more advanced and will include a robotic arm that allows the screen to tilt and rotate for better viewing angles. This high-end model could cost over $1,000 and may not arrive until 2026
What’s New with homeOS?
The new homeOS will reportedly be based on Apple TV’s tvOS and will provide seamless control of smart devices around the home. It will also include a new feature called Apple Intelligence, which will be integrated into both the basic and premium versions of the smart display, adding a layer of AI to enhance the user experience.
While more details are expected to come in the future, Apple seems to be positioning itself to compete with other smart home devices on the market, such as Amazon’s Echo Show and Google’s Nest Hub.
